Directions

• Can be taken with or without food

• Swallow tablets whole with water

• Do not crush or chew

Ingredients

Active Ingredient:

• Citalopram hydrobromide (equivalent to 10 mg / 20 mg / 40 mg Citalopram)

Other Ingredients:

• Mannitol

• Maize starch

• Lactose monohydrate

• Magnesium stearate

• Hypromellose

• Titanium dioxide

• Macrogol

Side Effects

Common side effects may include:

• Nausea

• Drowsiness

• Dry mouth

• Increased sweating

• Sleep disturbances

Serious (rare) side effects:

• Suicidal thoughts or behaviour

• Heart rhythm changes (QT prolongation)

• Severe allergic reaction

• Serotonin syndrome

Stop the medicine and seek medical attention if serious side effects occur.

Warnings

Do not take Citalopram if allergic to its ingredients or if you have a history of QT interval prolongation. Caution is required if you have epilepsy, bipolar disorder, liver impairment, or are taking other serotonergic drugs. Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless prescribed. Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine.
