Directions

• Dosage:

  • Adults and children over 2 years: Take one tablet as a single dose.

  • Children under 2 years: Not recommended.

• Administration:

  • The tablet may be chewed or swallowed whole.

  • Crush the tablet before giving it to a young child.

  • Always supervise a child if they are taking this medicine.

• Repeat Dose:

  • If reinfection occurs, a second tablet may be taken after two weeks.

• Precautions:

  • Maintain strict hygiene measures to prevent reinfection.

How Does It Work?

Mebendazole, the active ingredient in Ovex Single Tablet, works by inhibiting the uptake of glucose by the threadworms. This depletion of energy stores leads to the death of the worms, effectively treating the infection.

Side Effects

Who Should Avoid

Ovex Single Tablet is a convenient and effective treatment for threadworm (pinworm) infections, suitable for both adults and children over 2 years of age.
