Directions

• Swallow whole or disperse in water if needed

• Do not chew or crush the tablets

Side Effects

Serious (rare) side effects:

• Low magnesium levels

• Severe allergic reaction

• Liver dysfunction

• Bone fracture risk with prolonged use

Warnings

Do not use Losec MUPS if allergic to omeprazole or other PPIs. Not recommended in patients with severe liver problems unless monitored. Use with caution in long-term therapy due to potential risks like bone thinning and electrolyte imbalance. Consult a doctor if pregnant, breastfeeding, or using other acid-suppressing drugs.

Losec MUPS is a gastro-resistant formulation of omeprazole designed to reduce stomach acid and relieve symptoms of acid-related gastrointestinal conditions.
