Directions

Please refer to the medication’s patient information leaflet before starting any new medication.

• Take one tablet (12.5mg) at the first sign of migraine symptoms

• If the migraine returns, a second tablet may be taken after 2 hours

• Do not exceed two tablets (25mg) in 24 hours

• Swallow whole with water

• Store below 25°C

• Keep in original packaging

• Keep out of reach of children

• Sodium starch glycolate

Serious (rare) side effects:

• Chest pain

• Irregular heartbeat

Warnings

Do not take Almotriptan if you have heart disease, a history of stroke, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or severe liver issues. Not suitable for use during pregnancy unless advised by a doctor. Do not use with other triptans or ergotamine-based drugs.
