Warnings

Do not take Feanolla if allergic to desogestrel or any of its ingredients. Not suitable for individuals with a history of thrombosis, liver disease, or unexplained vaginal bleeding. Consult your doctor if pregnant or planning pregnancy.

Feanolla is a daily oral contraceptive tablet containing desogestrel, a synthetic progestogen. It is a progestogen-only pill (POP), commonly referred to as the “mini pill,” and is suitable for women who cannot take oestrogen-containing contraceptives or prefer a hormone-only option. Feanolla provides reliable pregnancy prevention when taken correctly and is suitable for use during breastfeeding.

How It Works
The active ingredient, desogestrel, works in two ways to prevent pregnancy: it thickens the cervical mucus, making it more difficult for sperm to reach the egg, and in most users, it also inhibits ovulation. Unlike traditional POPs that primarily affect mucus, desogestrel-based pills such as Feanolla offer a higher efficacy due to their ovulation-inhibiting effect.
