Directions

Please refer to the medication’s patient information leaflet before starting any new medication.

• Use one spray (20 mg) into one nostril at the start of a migraine attack

• Do not use more than two sprays (40 mg total) in 24 hours

• Wait at least two hours before using a second spray if symptoms return

• Do not exceed the recommended dose

• Store below 30°C

• Keep in original packaging

• Keep out of reach of children

Ingredients

• Active Ingredient:

  • Sumatriptan (as sumatriptan succinate) 20 mg per spray

  Other Ingredients:

  • Potassium dihydrogen phosphate

  • Disodium phosphate

  • Sulfobutylether beta-cyclodextrin

  • Purified water

Side Effects

Serious (rare) side effects:

Stop the medicine and seek medical attention if serious side effects occur.

Warnings

Do not use Imigran if allergic to sumatriptan or any listed ingredients. Not suitable for individuals with heart disease, previous stroke or TIA, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or severe liver impairment. Use caution with other serotonergic drugs or antidepressants. Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless prescribed. Avoid driving or operating machinery if drowsy after use.
