Directions

• Take one Sumatriptan tablet (usually 50mg or 100mg) at the onset of migraine symptoms.

• The tablet should be swallowed whole with water and can be taken with or without food.

• If the migraine returns after initial relief, a second tablet may be taken after at least 2 hours.

• Do not take more than 300mg of Sumatriptan in 24 hours.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• If a dose is missed and no symptoms are present, do not take it. Only use during active migraine episodes.

• Store below 25°C.

• Keep in original packaging.

Sumatriptan is a selective serotonin receptor agonist, commonly referred to as a “triptan,” used to treat acute migraine attacks. It acts primarily on the 5-HT1B and 5-HT1D receptors in the brain.
