Directions

Please refer to the medication’s patient information leaflet before starting any new medication.

• Apply to affected area 2 to 3 times per day

• Use a small amount (usually 2–4g)

• Do not apply more than 8g per day

• Wash hands after application (unless hands are treated area)

• Do not use under airtight dressings

Side Effects

Do not take Voltarol 1.16% Emulgel if allergic to diclofenac or other NSAIDs. Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless advised by a doctor. Use with caution in individuals with asthma, heart, liver, or kidney disease. Not for use on open wounds or mucous membranes. Avoid sun exposure to treated areas.
