Directions

Please refer to the medication’s patient information leaflet before starting any new medication.

• Take one tablet daily at the same time

• Follow the 28-day cycle pack (24 active tablets + 4 placebo or as directed)

• Swallow whole with water

• Do not stop or skip doses unless advised

• Store below 25°C

• Keep in original packaging

• Keep out of reach of children

Warnings

Do not take Femoston if you have or have had breast cancer, blood clots, liver disease, or unexplained vaginal bleeding. Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Use only under medical supervision and review your treatment regularly.

Femoston Tablets are a combined form of hormone replacement therapy (HRT), designed for women experiencing menopausal symptoms. Femoston contains two hormones: oestradiol (a form of oestrogen) and dydrogesterone (a synthetic progestogen). Oestradiol replenishes the body’s declining estrogen levels during menopause, alleviating symptoms like hot flushes and night sweats. Dydrogesterone protects the endometrial lining of the womb from becoming thickened under the influence of oestrogen, reducing the risk of endometrial cancer. The sequential regimen mimics a natural cycle and is typically taken daily without a break.
