Directions

• Wash hands before and after use

• Apply one single-dose applicator into the urethral opening 5–30 minutes before intercourse

• Use no more than once every 24 hours

• Do not use more than 2–3 times per week

• Store refrigerated between 2–8°C

• Bring to room temperature before use

• Keep out of reach of children

• Urethral irritation

• Local redness

Serious (rare) side effects:

• Prolonged erection (priapism)

• Fainting or dizziness

• Severe pain or swelling

Stop the medicine and seek medical attention if serious side effects occur.

Warnings

Do not use Vitaros if allergic to alprostadil or other ingredients. Not suitable for men with certain heart conditions, low blood pressure, or penile structural abnormalities. Do not use during sexual activity with a pregnant partner unless using protection. Consult your doctor before combining with other ED treatments.

Vitaros 300 micrograms Cream is a topical medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in adult men. It is an alternative to oral ED treatments like sildenafil or tadalafil, offering a local, non-systemic approach to help stimulate and maintain an erection.

How It Works
Vitaros contains alprostadil, a synthetic version of prostaglandin E1. When applied directly to the urethral opening using a prefilled applicator, it causes vasodilation (widening) of the blood vessels in the penis. This increased blood flow helps initiate and maintain an erection in response to sexual stimulation. Unlike oral ED medications, Vitaros does not rely on the nitric oxide pathway and may be beneficial for men who cannot tolerate or do not respond to PDE5 inhibitors.
