Directions

Please refer to the medication’s patient information leaflet before starting any new medication.

• Shake the bottle before use

• Spray once or twice into each nostril once daily

• Do not exceed 4 sprays per nostril in 24 hours

• Clean nozzle regularly

• Store below 25°C

• Keep in original packaging

• Keep out of reach of children

Ingredients

Active Ingredient:

• Fluticasone propionate 50 micrograms per spray

Other Ingredients:

• Microcrystalline cellulose

• Carboxymethylcellulose sodium

• Dextrose

• Polysorbate 80

• Benzalkonium chloride

• Purified water

Side Effects

Common side effects may include:

• Nosebleeds

• Nasal dryness or irritation

• Headache

Serious (rare) side effects:

• Vision problems (e.g. blurred vision or glaucoma)

• Hypersensitivity reactions

• Nasal septum perforation

Stop the medicine and seek medical attention if serious side effects occur.

Warnings

Do not use Flixonase if allergic to fluticasone or other corticosteroids. Seek advice before use if pregnant or breastfeeding. Not suitable for people with recent nasal surgery, infections, or untreated sinus problems. Use with caution in individuals taking other corticosteroids.
