Directions

Please refer to the medication’s patient information leaflet before starting any new medication.

• Take one tablet (2.5mg) at onset of migraine symptoms

• If symptoms persist, a second dose may be taken after 2 hours

• Do not exceed 5mg in 24 hours

• Swallow whole with water

• Store below 25°C

• Keep in original packaging

• Keep out of reach of children

Ingredients

Active Ingredient:

• Frovatriptan succinate equivalent to frovatriptan 2.5mg

Other Ingredients:

• Mannitol

• Microcrystalline cellulose

• Sodium starch glycolate

• Magnesium stearate

• Hypromellose

• Titanium dioxide

Side Effects

Common side effects may include:

• Dizziness

• Fatigue

• Flushing

• Nausea

Serious (rare) side effects:

• Chest pain or pressure

• Irregular heartbeat

• Shortness of breath

• Signs of stroke

Stop the medicine and seek medical attention if serious side effects occur.

Warnings

Do not take Migard if you have a history of heart disease, stroke, or uncontrolled high blood pressure. Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless advised by a doctor. Do not combine with other migraine medications such as ergotamine or other triptans.

How It Works
Migard contains frovatriptan, a type of triptan that specifically targets serotonin (5-HT) receptors in the brain. This action helps stop a migraine in its early phase and alleviates associated symptoms.
