How to Use:

• Apply one applicatorful (approximately 5 grams) intravaginally at bedtime for five consecutive days.

• Use a new applicator for each dose.

• Wash hands before and after application.

Zidoval Vaginal Gel is a topical antibiotic treatment designed to target the cause of bacterial vaginosis (BV). It contains metronidazole 7.5 mg/g, an antimicrobial agent effective against anaerobic bacteria, the most common contributors to BV. When applied intravaginally, Zidoval delivers a high concentration of metronidazole directly to the site of infection, disrupting bacterial DNA synthesis and leading to the death of harmful microorganisms.
Bacterial vaginosis occurs when the natural balance of bacteria in the vagina is disrupted, leading to an overgrowth of anaerobic species. Zidoval helps restore that balance by eliminating the pathogenic bacteria while allowing healthy lactobacilli to repopulate. Because it is applied locally, the treatment minimises systemic absorption and reduces the likelihood of gastrointestinal side effects compared to oral antibiotics.

Important Note
