Directions

Please refer to the medication’s patient information leaflet before starting any new medication.

• Take one tablet (12.5mg) as soon as migraine symptoms appear

• If the migraine returns, a second dose may be taken after 2 hours

• Maximum dose: 25mg (two tablets) in 24 hours

• Swallow with water

• Store below 25°C

• Keep in original packaging

• Keep out of reach of children

• Almotriptan malate equivalent to almotriptan 12.5mg

• Mannitol

• Cellulose

• Povidone

• Sodium starch glycolate

• Magnesium stearate

• Film-coating ingredients

Side Effects

Common side effects may include:

• Dizziness

• Sleepiness

• Nausea

• Dry mouth

Serious (rare) side effects:

• Chest pain

• Palpitations

• Severe allergic reactions

• Signs of stroke

Stop the medicine and seek medical attention if serious side effects occur.

Warnings

Do not take Almogran if you have a history of heart disease, stroke, or severe liver impairment. Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless advised by a doctor. Do not take with other triptan or ergotamine-based migraine medications.

How It Works
